Privacy
Plainly: we collect the few things we need to answer you and to count visits, we keep no third-party trackers, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.

1. Who we are
(“Prometheus,” “we”) is the data controller for this website, operating from Cyprus & Greece. For any privacy question, reach us via contactus@prometheu.website.
2. What we collect, and why
Contact form. When you message us we store what you send: name, email, and optionally phone, company, and your message, plus your consent flag and, for abuse protection, your IP address and browser string. We use this only to reply and to keep records of our correspondence. Lawful basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Analytics. If you accept analytics in the consent banner, we record first-party usage events. For each page view: the page address (path only, never query parameters), the address of the page that referred you (also without query parameters), how long the page was actually in front of you, how far you scrolled, your language, a coarse device size (phone, tablet or desktop), and a rotating, pseudonymous session identifier derived from a daily secret. We also count which buttons and outgoing links are clicked (by their name, never what you typed), how long our videos or audio are played, page-speed measurements your browser reports, and any script error that occurs, so we can fix it. We store no raw IP address or browser string for analytics. It is ours alone: no Google, no advertising network, no cross-site profiling. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie choices” in the footer. Withdrawal stops all recording instantly. Decline, and nothing is recorded.
Functional cookies. We store your theme and language choices so the site renders the way you left it. These carry no personal data and need no consent.
Client project portal. If we build your site, you get a private portal to follow the project. There we store the contact details we agree with you (name, company, phone, and optionally email), your access code in protected form, the messages you exchange with us, the files either side shares, and your approvals and requests as the project moves along. For abuse protection, sign-in attempts keep short-lived counters by network address. We use all of this only to run your project. Lawful basis: the agreement between us.
Notifications. If you turn on notifications in the portal, your browser gives us a delivery address for that device and we store it to send you project updates. Turning notifications off removes it.
Short links. Our flyers and posts sometimes use short links on this site (addresses starting with /go). When you follow one we count the visit: the link used, the site that referred you, a coarse device type, and the same kind of rotating pseudonymous identifier as our analytics. No raw IP address or browser string is stored.
3. Who we share it with
No one for marketing, ever. Your data sits in our own database on our hosting provider, which acts as our processor for storage and backups under contract. We do not sell data and run no third-party widgets.
4. How long we keep it
Contact-form enquiries are kept for 31 days and then automatically purged, unless they become part of an active project, in which case we keep them for the life of that engagement. Emails you send to our support address are kept for 365 days and then automatically purged. Analytics events are stored as individual pseudonymous rows and automatically deleted after 30 days. Short-link visit counts are deleted after 90 days. Project-portal data is kept for the life of the engagement and removed when the project is deleted after it ends; notification addresses are removed when you turn notifications off or they expire.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. To exercise any of these, contact us via contactus@prometheu.website; we respond within one month. If you have a project portal with us, the same applies to your project data: there is nothing to click, just ask us and we hand you a full export of it. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority: in Cyprus the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, in Greece the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
6. Changes
If this notice changes we update this page. Material changes will be obvious on your next visit.
